COVID-19 Visitor Update

The protection of our patients and staff is our highest priority.

In response to the current COVID-19 outbreak in Victoria, unfortunately we are not accepting visitors at our hospital until further notice, unless under exceptional circumstances*.

We apologise for the inconvenience and hardship this may cause, but appreciate your understanding the need to keep patients as safe as possible during these challenging times.

Please contact your loved ones by telephone or device or via the hospital’s switchboard number or direct room number instead

*requires approval of the Hospital Coordinator

To accommodate family and friends of our patients, our visiting hours are:

Weekdays: 3pm to 8pm

Weekends: 11am to 8pm

Limiting weekday visiting times to the afternoon and evening enables our patients to attend their therapy programs without interruption.

Please report to Reception before entering the wards. We ask that children under 12 years are accompanied by an adult when visiting the hospital.

In some cases, visitors may be required to follow specific procedures, depending on the condition of the patient. Our nursing staff will provide instructions as necessary.

To avoid spreading infections, please do not visit if you have a cold or fever or are suffering from gastroenteritis (‘gastro’).
