Visitors information

COVID-19 Visitor Update

On Sunday 27th September, State Government announced that hospital patients can have one visitor per day for a maximum of two hours, with children under 18 in hospital able to have two parents or carers visit with no time limit. However, it was also announced that discretion applies to vulnerable settings and variation should be expected, including across public and private facilities.

We have decided that, for the ongoing safety of our vulnerable patients and staff, our current policy of not permitting visitors on-site will remain in place.

We will advise if this policy is updated in the future.

We thank you for your support and understanding.

To accommodate family and friends of our patients, our visiting hours are:

Weekdays: 3pm to 8pm

Weekends: 11am to 8pm

Limiting weekday visiting times to the afternoon and evening enables our patients to attend their therapy programs without interruption.

Please report to Reception before entering the wards. We ask that children under 12 years are accompanied by an adult when visiting the hospital.

In some cases, visitors may be required to follow specific procedures, depending on the condition of the patient. Our nursing staff will provide instructions as necessary.

To avoid spreading infections, please do not visit if you have a cold or fever or are suffering from gastroenteritis.

Bus: Regular bus services operate along Townsend Road, the nearest stop being in front of the Clinic car park at Apollo Place.

Parking: Car parking is readily available in the visitors car park.

Train: The nearest railway station is situated at South Geelong. Timetables and route details are available on request.

Taxi: Reception is also able to book or call a taxi if required.
